A bit of travel
Saturday, August 19th, 2006Well, we have just arrived in Florence WI. We’ve been in the states for a little over a week and here is a bit of what we’ve done. We arrived and I was able to preach in Faith Community in Beaver Dam on Sunday morning. That was a great opportunity and we were able to reconnect with many friends while we were there. From there we were blessed with some time with both my parent’s and DeAnn’s parents, Kristi (my brother’s wife), and some great American style Chinese food! We also were able to see many old college friends when we went to Aaron Stanski’s wedding down in Illinois. From there we spoke in Bethel Gilead Church in Bronson MI. We also had a dessert that night which was a blast. Then we drove up to Pontiac MI to visit my aunt and uncle and also we got to visit some friends in Lapeer. Finally we drove up and around the lake to visit my cousin Rachel and Steve. We got to visit with some old friends up in the U.P. too and now we are finally in Florence.
During our travels things have gone well and God has really blessed us by allowing us to reconnect with friends and family. DeAnn however has definitely had to deal with some health related issues. Due to some of the medicine she’s on she has had some side effects such as joint pain and difficulty sleeping. She seems to be doing better but we did have to make a trip to the emergency room to get some tests done this past Monday. The tests came back showing that she was healthy and the pain did come from the medication. So just be praying that she will be able to get off the medication and that the side effects will lesson.
