Honesty and Reality
“The first thing we have to do is get honesty on the table, honesty about our competitive position, the strength or lack thereof of our products, the robustness or lack thereof of our processes, and really deal with each other with true honesty,” Ford said. “It doesn’t matter how good a plan you put together. If it’s not based on cold reality, if it’s not based on facts, it’s not going to succeed.” -Bill Ford, CEO Ford Motor Company
This just hit me as a very true statement. Thought I’d put it out there for you to consider as it applies to pretty much everything! From ministry to marriage we need to be willing to see reality and go from there. Especially in the light of wanting to plan for the future, if we don’t start “based on facts,” we just won’t get where we want to go.
